Our friends' baby is turning 2, so for his birthday Mr. Mayhem and I decided to design him some custom wall art. His mama sings "You are my Sunshine" every nap and bed time so we thought framing those lyrics would be special. Mr. Mayhem put his graphic design skills to use (with my input, of course). We used Adobe Illustrator to design the poster. We decided to print four 8x10" because we can print it on our home printer and finding frames would be easy. The other advantage to printing it on 4 pages instead of one is that they can orient it different ways depending on what fits in their space. If they are really limited on space they could choose just one or two to display and store the others for a later time. The white frames are from Target. I chose them because they are simple and white, and let's be honest, I could afford 4 of them. That is the draw back to the 4 posters. What ever the frame cost is, is multiplied by 4. If money were no object I would have chosen a slightly thicker, more chunky frame. If you would like to recreate this look I have uploaded a PDF version for you to download for FREE!!
