Kitchen Addiction - Aurora Borealis Jar 🌌✨ Create a glowing Aurora Borealis jar by layering dyed water, glitter, and cotton in a mason jar. Add glow-in-the-dark paint for a magical effect, then swirl to mimic the Northern Lights! Materials Needed: - Mason jar (16 oz or similar) 🏺 - Water 💧 - Fine glitter (silver, iridescent, or holographic) ✨ - Acrylic or tempera paint (green, blue, purple, and white) 🎨 - Cotton balls (a lot!) ☁️ - Glow-in-the-dark paint (optional) 🌟 - Stick or knife (for pressing cotton) 🔪 Instructions: 1. Fill 1/3 of the jar with water 💧. 2. Add a few drops of blue or green acrylic paint, seal the jar, and shake to mix 🎨. 3. Sprinkle in fine glitter for a shimmering, starlit effect ✨. 4. Stretch and pull apart cotton balls, then press them into the jar using a stick or knife until the bottom layer is packed ☁️. 5. Fill the next 1/3 of the jar with water, add a different color like purple or turquoise, and repeat steps 2-4 🌈. 6. For the final 1/3 layer, mix white or a lighter shade of blue into the water, then repeat steps 2-4 💙. 7. If using glow-in-the-dark paint, add a few drops throughout for a soft aurora-like glow 🌟. 8. Once the layers are complete, seal the jar and gently swirl to blend the colors slightly, mimicking the movement of the Northern Lights 🌌. Enjoy your mesmerizing Aurora Borealis Jar! Keep it in a well-lit area to charge any glow-in-the-dark elements for a magical nighttime effect
