Architect: Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret (1934) Location: Paris (16th), France By request, a few more snapshots of Le Corbusier's own residence on the top two floors of the Molitor building, next to the Parc des Princes in Paris. These photos aren't very good, but I just took them quickly, for my own reference. The photo lacks scale, because what it doesn't convey is that the doorway opening to the bathroom here is only about 5 feet high. Corbu must have been very short. Like in every other Le Corbusier project I've visited, his own residence seemed to be at about 4/5th scale for me. The barrel-vaulted ceilings certainly provided plenty of headroom in the main areas, but in every doorway and corridor, I have to crouch and even the hallways feel too narrow.
