We had a FB live last night for the "Nesters" anyone on this email list can join! One question that came up was how to create a mood board or I call them a Design Board. I shared the EASIEST way and I think they way that looks the best:) on todays blog post HERE. I also shared WHERE to start when designing a room! First a design question (still working thru my emails, I will let you know when I am accepting more!) DESIGN QUESTION- This is a sitting area in our master bedroom.Right now I only have curtains in here (the are made of shiny material which I did not realize when I bought them online, so returning them). The color of the room won’t be changing. Any suggestions for this space that will also help livin the room up?? I don’t have a budget number in my head but I can’t spend an arm and a leg. MY SUGGESTION- This is hard to answer without knowing more about your home and how you want to use the room. BUT one thing I can suggest is to do a grouping of 4 chairs around an ottoman. This set-up wouldn't feel like a family room the way a sofa and chairs would. Easy to get to the closets if the chairs are in the center of the room. Just a thought! I would also make sure to always read what curtains and rugs are made of when you purchase online- look for natural fibers. You could make a Design Board for this room too!
