Stackduino is an Arduino based controller for automating focus stacking. A stepper motor moves the camera/ subject between pictures and the controller sends a shutter signal to the camera to take each picture. For safety, the camera is electrically separated from the controller using opto-isolators. This set is a record of various prototypes in the evolution of the project. "Stackduino 1" is complete. The latest copy of the code, pcb files and wiring diagram are available on github: github.com/ReallySmall/Stackduino Thanks in particular to Flickr users bert01980 and nsomniius for bug reports and input on development. "Stackduino SMD" is a current work in progress.
