Sub cut 6-1/2" segments. 55059, 55709 or 55018 or 8” Qube Shape 2 A – 4 @ 2-1/2” x 6-1/2” rectangles. B – 24 @ 2-1/2” squares. Piecing the Zig Zag Rails Quilt Block 1. Using the B patches, make 4 units shown below. Option: This block is jelly roll (2-1/2” strips) friendly. Consider making strip sets of 3 @ 2-1/2” strips. Press the seams and sub cut into 2-1/2” segments. Sew 2 different segments together to make the unit above. 2. Stitch an A patch to the step 1 units as shown. 3. Refer to diagram to assemble block.
