Subtraction Smash for subtraction within 10 and within 20. Students love these fun smash games and they'll love playing in the mud with this cute piggie! There are two smash mat games to choose from. Choose subtraction within 10 or choose subtraction within 20. Recording sheets are included for both. Students choose a card and find the answer on the smash mat. They smash the it with a ball of playdough. Then they record it on their recording sheet and then feed it to the pig to discard it. Play ends once they've smashed all of the mud puddles. This game could also be used as a "cover" game. Instead of playdough, students can cover the numbers with mini erasers or other math counters. See the video preview to see it in action!
