Bill Atkinson was an architect before he was a clothing designer and not surprisingly his work is celebrated for its creative design and high quality construction. This lovely late 1960s/early 1970s tiered prairie dress is great example with its pretty paisley print, contrasting trim detail and off-center back zipper cleverly hidden under the trim. The dress has a high round neck and long puffed sleeves with cuffs that each close with a single self-fabric covered button.
