This is my absolute favorite way to teach color mixing in preschool! I set it up as an independent station in our science center, but we first demo it together: the kids take just a tiny pinch of each Play-Doh color, mix it, then bag it up to take home. And no, letting them mix it here doesn’t mean they’ll always mix Play-Doh at our regular Play-Doh table—this is a separate, intentional activity.
