Here is a vintage set of Josef Originals "Birthday Girls" ages 1 thru 16. Most have the original foil, paper labels and/or hang tags. The set includes examples from Muriel Joseph George, George Good Corporation and Applause Corp. Each in excellent to very good condition, with minor wear from age. Please note "Age 6" has a well done glued repair, and small chip on its right wing. Noticeable only if you are looking for them. Each doll will be carefully and individually wrapped, boxed, then placed into a larger shipping box to protect during transit. She began designing these dolls to express her love for children, families, animals, and more. Her first designs were produced between 1945 and 1962 in California before moving the manufacture of the dolls to Japan for economic reasons. In 1982, Muriel entered retirement and sold the company to then partner, George Good. OK, Sweet little angel girl with her small brown teddy bear clutched in her arm. Soft pink color dress with the number 2 - which has tiny blue forget me not flowers and more gold trim. Sweet. Very good vintage condition. Measures 3 inches x 3 inches at the base. Enjoy
