Amphitrite is the name of this 9' bronze mermaid statue by Simon Morris, placed in fifty feet of water off the beach at Sunset House on Grand Cayman Island.
This "Sea 'Goddess" tile in the Verdigris finish makes a great gift for anyone who loves architectural elements or mythology! The Verdigris finish replicates the effects of weathering on copper, creating a patina of greens and blue-greens. With flowing hair surrounding her face and a starfish in her crown, the "Sea Goddess" tile would look at home in an Italian grotto. She might be Calypso or maybe the Greek goddess Amphitrite, or even a goddess of wind and stars. This sculpture is carefully cast and finished by hand to assure quality. It is cast from a mixture of Forton resin, limestone, quartz, & gypsum cement, making the piece strong and chip resistant. It sits on any flat surface. Finished to have the look of Verdigris, it's perfect for interior and exterior use.
