It is Tuesday and it is your good news day! This week marks the 88th consecutive week of our challenge - and it is "all about the 8's". We begin with the string that my daughters Nancy and Sarah came up with as we played with the numeral 88 as a possible string line... "It's a String Thing" #88 String Line They did a good job of incorporating the 88 without making it too obvious, don't you think? We will use three tangle patterns that bring 8's to mind. They include ~ 8's by Jane Eileen Malone, CZT She has several versions of the tangle listed. Pia by Margaret Bremner, CZT Tipz by Faith Cohen Step outs for the patterns can be found by clicking their names above, or by visiting TanglePatterns. Use as many or as few as you'd like. Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away! Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way. Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines: * Challenges are posted on Tuesdays. *Use the string posted for the week and patterns that begin or contain the letter(s) indicated * Submit a photo of your tile saved as jpg or scan your tile (300 dpi or higher) and save as a jpg *Email your jpg file as an attachment to - [email protected] *Entries are to be submitted by Saturday evenings. *Photos and 'Best of Show' are posted on Mondays.
