In this activity students use their knowledge of trigonometry and trigonometric functions to match graphs to their equations and transformation descriptions. This card matching activity can be catered to the specific needs of your classroom! You could use as few as 20 cards (match 10 graphs to their 10 equations) or all 60 cards (match 20 graphs to their equations and transformation descriptions). You can customize the answer key to your needs by highlighting only the cards/matches that students are supposed to complete for your class. This activity can be used in a variety of ways including as an in class pairs activity, interactive notebook page, or individual assessment of student understanding. The 1st, 3rd, and 5th page of matching cards go together and are sine, cosine, and tangent functions only. The 2nd, 4th, and 6th page of matching cards go together and are secant, cosecant, and cotangent functions only. You could make separate sets or use them as one big set of all 60 cards.
