Hey, 'Fetti Fans! Welcome to Day 3 of the special April Release for Reverse Confetti! This is such a fabulous release, with five new stamp sets and eight new Confetti Cuts! Lots of sweet goodness coming this month! Today, we are introducing a new set of Confetti Cuts that comes with a coordinating stamp set: Fancy Words. These dies are so fabulous -- I just love the font! Here are the cards I made with Fancy Words. First of all, I decided to use some of the left over My Mind's Eye striped glittery paper that I used on my card yesterday to make two cards. I trimmed a piece of the patterned paper to 4.25x5.5 to mat my card. Using the new Shakers 'n Frames Confetti Cuts, I diecut the large frame from the patterned paper. I also repeatedly diecut the "xoxo" Fancy Words Confetti Cut from the sparkly patterned paper and stamped my sentiment (using the Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set.) I couldn't resist making another card with this patterned paper! This time, I used a whole panel, from which I diecut the "birthday" Fancy Words Confetti Cut, to give it a camouflage effect. I stamped the "happy" from The Buzz several times, without inking in between for the generational inking technique. Then I repeated this technique with the Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set. Next, I made a card using another new Confetti Cut that's being released this month: Geometric Background. I ran my Geometric Background Confetti Cut through my diecutting machine like I would an impression plate, so I just impressed the cardstock with it. Then, I using the smooshing technique, I inked up my panel in aqua mist, sweet blush and hibiscus burst. Once it was dry, I diecut the tag from Tag Me, Too Confetti Cuts from the impressed, watercolored panel, as well as the "thanks" Fancy Words Confetti Cut. I added a little more smooshing to my background, as well as to a piece of cardstock that I trimmed and then diecut the end of using the new Layered Banner Duo. When it was dry, I stamped the sentiment (from Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set.) A few buttons and twine finish it off. And lastly, I have a couple of baby cards to share. I love, love, love this new border stamp that's included in the Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set! I used it to stamp my background in sweet blush, summer sunrise and berry sorbet inks. I created my banner the same way as I did on my previous card, using the Layered Banner Duo to diecut the end. I stamped the sentiment from Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set in versa mark and heat embossed it in white. I diecut the "baby" Fancy Words Confetti Cut from sweet blush cardstock and added few enamel dots to finish it off. I was so happy with how this card turned out that I created another one -- this time, a boy version. This time, I used aqua mist, summer sunrise and enchanted evening for my stripes. I'm linking this last card up to the current Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: New Beginnings: That's it for today!
