My NEXT project is to tackle the laundry room. It’s simple and small but I’m not a person that folds laundry in the laundry room. My kids bring it to their rooms to fold, and for ours I bring it out to the kitchen table. :) On the one side is a soaking sink and then a counter over where the washer and dryer go. This is looking in from the mudroom: and the other side (looking back at the door to the mudroom) is just a folding counter and that is where I am going to add some shelves! The shelves need a little color and personality, so here we go: I was in a cute pharmacy gift shop with my Mom this past summer and fell in love with this wrapping paper and knew I could use it somewhere. My mom got this one and is going to frame it -- they are so charming! I have used this method before here and loved how it turned out so here we go again! Trace around your mat, cut a hole in the middle and carefully cut 4 triangles to your corners and then tape down I just took a dollar store 11X14 frame --my store still carries these -- and spray painted it gold with the best gold color I have found ( I buy it at a craft store with a coupon) I filled the frames with a favorite little saying and a black and white pic of my girls and me back in the day (sniff) A fun way to add some substance and character to the room without breaking the bank. More to come in the laundry room --
