In this activity students will solve for unknown angles using the primary trigonometric ratios. Students work in groups of 3 and will be responsible for solving one question each round. When all angles are solved, students will sum their answers up, show you the sum and if it is correct they move on to the next round and if not they must work together to identify the mistake. This activity encourages all group members to work together and collaborate in order to successfully complete all 12 rounds. See tips in the downloaded package for strategies I have used to make this activity a success! Questions: Students will complete 12 questions by the end of the activity. For 6 rounds all group members will use the same trigonometric ratios to solve for the unknown angle and the last 6 rounds each group member will use a different trigonometric ratio to solve for the unknown angle. Level of Difficulty: Basic Trigonometric Worksheet Time For Activity: 30-40 minutes. Prep Required: Print and cut out rounds for groups.
