INGREDIENTS: • 2 slices bread • 1/3 cup (80 ml) milk • 1 large egg • 1 lb (450 gr) ground meat (beef or a mix of beef and pork) • 1/2 cup (60 gr) breadcrumbs • 1/4 cup (25 gr) Parmesan cheese, grated • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped • 1 garlic clove, minced • salt and pepper, to taste • 1 tablespoon olive oil • 1 jar marinara sauce • DIRECTIONS: • Remove the crust from the bread, cut in pieces, place in a small bowl and soak in milk. Break the bread with a fork. • In a large bowl, add the egg and beat with a fork.
