Distance, Midpoint, Parallel & Perpendicular Lines in Geometry Common Core Students will be required to use the Distance Formula Algebraically or Graphically (using the Pythagorean Theorem). Students will be required to use the Midpoint Formula Algebraically or Graphically (using slope). Students will be required to find an Endpoint given a Midpoint (Algebraically or Graphically). Scaffolded with graphic organizer on first page. 8 questions total. Students will be required to find the length of a line segment and express your answer in simplest radical form. Find the midpoint given the points on a line segment. Write the equation of line in slope-intercept form and point-slope form. Write the equation of a line parallel to a line and through a point. Write the equation of a line perpendicular to a line and through a point. Write the equation of the perpendicular bisector through a given line segment. Takes roughly 15-20 minutes. NO PREP NEEDED.
