This resource includes a 20 slide presentation that explains the basic structure and function of the different parts of the brain. *note: this comes in .pdf and .pptx formats, but there's a video diagram that only works in the .pptx format, so that slide is different in the two versions I have also included 10 pages of optional worksheets for the students to fill out either as they learn about the brain, or they can take it as a quiz afterward. (both .pdf and .docx formats) Parts of the brain included in this resource: 4 lobes (frontal, parietal, temporal, & occipital), corpus callosum, limbic system (pituitary gland, amygdala, hippocampus, thalamus, & hypothalamus), brain stem, and cerebellum. I mention association areas; Broca's area and the prefrontal cortex, but I don't go into any more detail than that.
