Last month I showed you a Fathers Day card made with the Guy Greetings Set which you can see HERE. As I was writing up that blog post my little grey cells started to whir and I began to dream up this card...same stamps, different colour and different sentiment! I've finally made the card (crafting has been taking a bit of a back seat while my eldest two children sit their GCSEs - half way through now and there is light at the end of the exam tunnel!) and I'm just in time to enter The Paper Players Challenge #347 where the theme is Birthdays. With the help of my Stamp-a-ma-jig I have created the array of shoes and hats using Night of Navy ink. Then I have wrapped a vellum band around the centre portion of the array which creates a square frame for the large die cut Happy Birthday to sit on. You can still see the shoes and hats underneath, but the die cut becomes the focus and sends a clear Happy Birthday greeting! I couldn't resist making a blue version of the Fathers Day card. I'm not sure which is my favourite - blue or the original black one. For completeness, I also made a blue birthday card using the Happy Birthday from the stamp set. Thanks for visiting today.
