I challenged the two designers sharing projects this week to make a layout without pink! I don't know if I could do it... the last time I tried some pink still snuck in there ;) Steffi Ried is sharing her stunning page today! Hello and welcome to a new post from me, Steffi! A layout without the color pink is not easy for me. Especially because it is one of my favorite colors. Even if I would like to create a project without pink, often a little bit of it comes onto the layout. But I also love variety and challenges. First I searched all the collections by Paige and found many beautiful papers and embellishments, which resulted in a great color combination without (too much ;) pink. I love it! In my projects I sew a lot or use thicker yarn. For this layout, I wanted to wrap the yarn around the cardstock. I did something like that a couple of years ago but holes in the paper attached the yarn. This time I have reinforced the paper with additional cardboard. This makes the yarn easier to wrap. To the yarn I added many different stickers, buttons, and die cuts from all collections. I love to mix the papers and embellishments. This always results in beautiful color combinations. On the back the yarn is attached with double-sided adhesive tape so it does not slip. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time! xo Steffi SUPPLIES: OH MY HEART: Paper 04, Heart Charms, Sticker Book, Chipboard Stickers; TAKE ME AWAY: Paper 18, Foam Phrase Thickers, Epoxy Paper Clips, Ephemera Die Cuts; FANCY FREE: Buttons Blog: steffiried.blogspot.com / Instagram: @steffiried / Pinterest: @steffiried / Facebook: stefanie.ried.96 YouTube: Steffi Ried Steffi is always so creative with string and yarn!
