Engage your students in the world of interpreting and graphing linear equations with this "Linear Equations Card Sort" activity. With a diverse set of cards representing linear equations in slope-intercept form, standard form, and point slope form, (vertical and horizontal lines included) students will actively sort them into groups based on their corresponding graph, equation, slope, and y-intercept. This resource includes eight different groups. Here is a video of the activity! WARNING: This activity requires some preparation, as it involves cutting out the cards. I recommend allocating time for this step before conducting the card sorting activity with your students. NOTE: I understand that different teaching approaches may require variations in the equations and forms needed. I value your feedback and encourage you to share any alternatives that work well with your students. Your input is highly appreciated, and I am committed to continuously improving my resources. Please send me an email at [email protected] with any suggestions. Together let's create an optimal learning experience! Did you enjoy this resource? Please consider leaving a review!
