A set of angle construction activities based around space rockets. Students have to construct accurate versions of two different spaceships by using a protractor and ruler to draw all of the lines and angles correctly. The first space ship is a warm up - quite challenging but most students can easily complete it. The second space ship is much more of a challenge and requires concentration and perseverance! *Update* A warm up activity is now included where students must 'spot the error' and decide which of six angles have been measured correctly. At the end, students could design their own space rocket, measure all the angles and give it to a friend to construct. $$ Save $$ Buy this as part of my angles bundle and save $$! Common Core: 4.G.A.1: Draw points, lines, line segments, rays, angles (right, acute, obtuse), and perpendicular and parallel lines. 4.MD.C.6: Measure angles in whole-number degrees using a protractor. Sketch angles of specified measure. Artwork by Chris Hoyle: www.ChrisHoyleArt.co.uk
