In the activity, students complete a scavenger hunt answering questions using the actual text of the Declaration of Independence. This activity is something that I usually do with students as an introduction to my full lesson on the Declaration of Independence. However you could stretch it out by including a video and discussing the assignment. This is a great activity to have students work in pairs or you can have students compete against each other to see who can finish first. After students complete this activity you can review the answers with the included answer key and discuss any questions. This activity is a Google ready resource...just click the link in the PDF to make a copy and then share with your class on Google Classroom! This resource is plug and play! You can easily share it with your class through Google Classroom which works great in a 1:1 classroom setting. Getting started is a breeze with the teacher notes included with this purchase. Also included with this purchase is a hard copy which is ready to print and go if you do not have a 1:1 setup in your classroom. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions about the lesson! ---- Mike Oberdick U.S. History Google Ready Resources
