This was the idea of this book nook which can add to your bookshelves a green touch during the day and some magic sparks in the evening when the lights are on. The box is made of 4 mm plywood. The outside is painted in a light shade of nut tree color, but if you have other preferences, please let me know. The ”landscape” inside is made of plastered and painted polystyrene for the stairs and the rocks, natural twigs for the trees, preserved moss and lichens, preserved amaranth, asparagus, ferns and other plants. The plants does not require any care, but, even they are inside the box, keep them away from very dry air, air conditioner, direct sunlight and do not spray water on them. Just in case :). The lights are battery operated (3 AA), included. You have the option of USB powered led lights in the ”style” variation section. The USB cable is approx 30 cm ( 11.8 inches), placed in the back of the box, so check out if you can plug it. The box measures 10/ 5 /7,2 inches, please check your shelf/books to be sure it fits in. The inside decor is an entirely handmade item, so, please note that every time I remake it, the final product will be slightly different (twigs form, plants/lights arrangement, stairs design). Every book nook is, therefore, different, unique. I.ll send photos before dispatching. Please consider 2-3 weeks dispatching time when you order.
