Sunday was the first wedding Anniversary of my oldest son and his sweet wife. Being the terrible mother that I am, I didn't get their card ...
Another new die, and another simple card. I cut the die from an off-white panel. I matted with slightly patterned paper. The sentiment is from Inky Antics and is cut with a Memory Box die and mounted on foam squares. Edited to add: Here is the link to this die that I bought from Amazon. I have bought many dies from Amazon and also from eBay. There are multiple sellers selling them. I haven't been linking, because I think these companies are making dies using other company's dies as patterns. Not sure how they can do that, but I have seen some that I've recognized from "major" companies. Wherever they come from, they work really well! If you are interested, please allow lots of time for looking, because there are lots of dies. Also, they ship from China, so they take a long time to get here. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Hi Everyone, For this week's Share it on a Sunday, we are CASEing a Favourite Demonstrator which basically means copying a project that we like that someone else has made. You can copy it exactly or you can use it to inspire your project, either way you should always give credit to the original project maker. My inspiration this week comes from Gez Carpenter who is a Team Mate from the Pootlers Team aka Nigezza Creates and there is a link below to her original project. I needed an anniversary card for a very special couple and her project was ideal. I have changed the colours and some of the products because I don't have everything that Gez used but the inspiration is hers. www.nigezza.co.uk Materials 1 piece of misty moonlight card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" 1 piece of seaside spray card stock 4" x 5 3/4" 2 pieces of basic white card stock 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" Scraps of seaside spray and silver foil Basic pearls Stitched So Sweetly dies Floral Essence stamp set Many Mates stamp set Versamark ink Heat tool Holographic embossing powder (my stash - I thought it was white!!) Sprig Punch Perennial Flower Punch Stampin Cut and Emboss machine Old World Paper 3D embossing folder Multipurpose adhesive Dimensionals Trimmer Simply scored Bone folder Instructions On the long side, score the misty moonlight card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a landscape card. Adhere the seaside spray mat to the card front. Run one of the basic white layers through the machine in the embossing folder and then adhere to the card front leaving an equal border all the way around the edges. Stamp four of the three petal flowers and the sentiment using Versamark on a scrap of seaside spray card, then sprinkle with embossing powder and set with the Heat Tool - I thought I had picked up white but it was holographic and I didn't realise until it was too late. Die cut the sentiment layers using the Stitched So Sweetly dies and layer them together and add to the centre of the card front using dimensionals (I have used dimensionals between the layers too.) Punch out eight sprigs with the punch, four in seaside spray and four in silver foil. Bend the petals on the flowers around the bone folder and then stick them together in twos, offsetting the petals to make a fuller flower. Arrange them at either side of the sentiment on dimensionals and then add the sprigs around them tucking them in underneath the petals. Add some pearls and the card if finished. I hope that you like my interpretation of Gez's project. Don't forget to click on the links below and see what Donna and Victoria have also made this week. Good morning! Recently, I had a lady request two 50th Anniversary cards! Something new for me, I have never created 50th Anniversary cards yet! So this was a fun challenge! I loved how each of these cards turned out: I cut the 50 from one of my Cricut carts! Along with the banner. The beautiful Happy Anniversary sentiment is from Inspired By Stamping's Fancy Sentiments set! I just love the sentiments in this set! And the other one: The "50" is stamped from IBS's Fancy Alphabet set! And the main "Happy Anniversary" sentiment is from Stampabilites (FR1035). Have a beautiful day!
I used the Bouquet of Love Bundle to create a few lovely cards. I was not sure how a hybrid cut and emboss folder worked, but it was easy!
Hello friends. I have an anniversary card to share today. I made this for some dear friends who will be celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary this month. I used a new die from Spellbinders - Magnolia Blooms. It is a 2 piece set and cuts the bottom solid layer and then a detailed cut out layer. I cut the bottom layer in white and the top cut out layer in silver foil. I added a little shading to the flowers with a lt. gray marker - I think it makes them stand out better. I had seen several samples on the Spellbinders blog and loved the way they are colored. The sentiment is from a Spellbinders hot foil glimmer plate set of sentiments. The flower image and sentiment are both mounted with foam tape. The white panel is embossed with SU Tasteful Textile EF. This photo shoes the sentiment better and all the pretty shine. I am really pleased with the final card and I think the couple will love it too (she is also a card maker). I am linking to The Color Hues Challenge - Silver & White. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day. Happy Stamping, JoAnn
My daughter Emma and her husband celebrated their Wedding Anniversary recently and I thought I would share the card I made for them. I cut two pieces of my favourite True Love Designer Series Paper…
