Hey Friends Welcome to a new Craft Stamper challenge for November. Can you believe we are almost at the end of the year already!! Where did time go?? It has been pretty cold and frosty up here in Scotland for the last few nights. But I am hanging on to Autumn as long as I can. I took a wee walk around the park and collected some lovely Autumn leaves. I wanted to incorporate them into my project today. I put the leaves in some paper and put them inside a heavy book overnight to press them down. I started off with a white card base and used this sentiment stamp from Unity and repeat stamped all down the side of my card using Potting Soil Archival Ink. Then I went around the edges with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink. Next I took my leaves and my paper punches and punched a heart shape out from the yellow leaf and then stuck it to my card with fabric glue. Then I punched some hearts from the red leaves and put one inside the yellow leaf and a couple in the corner of my card just to add more interest. I tied a wee bit of twine around the card just to finish it off. I absolutely love the way it turned out. I love using things in nature to add to my creations. Leaves make the perfect embellishment too. You just have to be careful as they can be a little fragile. Now it is your turn to come and join the fun. We have as always some fabulous prizes up for grabs. We have this lovely butterfly stamp from PaperArtsy. . All of the challenge details can be found on the Craft Stamper Blog. I hope you have some time to come and play along. Thanks so much for stopping by! Mandi xoxo Linking up to SSS Wed Anything Goes Challenge

I’ve always wished Thanksgiving were a month earlier to enjoy dinner outdoors. I can’t think of any backdrop more beautiful than the autumn foliage putting on its best display. There’s something magical about eating al fresco on a mild autumn day with the leaves dancing in the air as they glide to the lawn. In New England, the leaves are long gone by the time Thanksgiving arrives. I had the best time putting this tablescape together in collaboration with Sunbrella.
