This item is similar to our fancy 5-light candle but includes deluxe glass tea light holders that stand proud of the barrel stave and is made from our widest barrel staves. This version of our 5-light barrel stave candle projects the most light of all. Use as a stand-alone candle decoration on a side table or as a centerpiece candle for your dinning table. I have preserved the character of the wood. With a graceful upward curve, the top of the candle is coloured a deep purple from the red wine that the barrel held for years, and the bottom shows the greyish age of the outside of the barrel with white bands created by the metal barrel straps. The wood is hand finished with durable and beautiful glossy tung oil. Each item is unique in its exact measurements and colours. Widths are 4 inches or more depending on the barrel maker. Inside colour varies with the type of wine, the age of the barrel and where that particular stave was located as the barrel was stored on its side. Both add to the uniqueness of the platter. Each platter is individually handcrafted. The barrel is disassembled, the appropriate staves are chosen, sanded, and stained. The platter is then sealed and finished with an Earth friendly hand rubbed tung oil. Rustic style handles are added so the piece can be used for serving. Handcrafted from whisky barrel staves the lovely honeyed colouring of the bench is due to the barrel being a madeira cask before it was shipped to a Scottish distillery. This lovely little seat is another of our unique designs & makes a stunning & stylish addition to any home or garden. The bench has been finished with Osmo UV protection oil to bring out the natural colouring & grain of the wood as well as protecting it, so it is suitable for both indoor or outdoor use. As every barrel is different & wood is a natural product all benches will vary slightly in colour, markings and appearance making each one individual & unique.

Entertain your guests in true wine country style with this table runner centerpiece. It was once part of a wine barrel from the Napa Valley. When wineries can no longer use them for winemaking, we repurpose them by breaking them down into individual wine staves and sand the surface until it is super smooth with just a hint of the red wine on the surface to remind you of its origins. We also flatten the bottom for sturdiness and add synthetic rope handles to make it easy to carry. MEASUREMENTS: 36" L x 6-8"W PLEASE NOTE that every wine barrel varies slightly due to the type of red wine formerly stored inside, so we cannot guarantee that your serving tray will look exactly the same as our shop pictures but it will be very similar in nature. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash with mild detergent and towel dry immediately. Because wood expands, it should not be allowed to stand in water and is not dishwasher safe. As a courtesy, we include a tag with care instructions and a free 1 oz. sample of food safe butcher block conditioner (mineral oil, Vitamin E, beeswax, and Carnauba wax) which rejuvenates and protects the wood grain.
