- pattern only - Available in English only. Thanks for checking out my newest pattern, Barnaby The Bat! This little hand sized guy takes approximately 2 hours to make. I would label this as an intermediate pattern since you have to work on both sides of a chain and turn your work without chaining in some parts of the pattern. Add wire to his wings to make him cling to your hand as if he was your newest little pet. His little faux fur head and body is so soft and fluffy! Approximately 4-5 inches tall -Tip: use a wire dog brush to fluff your fur after making the item- Materials Needed: Go For Faux Lion Brand Yarn Black Panther, weight 6 (do NOT buy thick & quick) I Love This Yarn Black, weight 4 1 piece of 18 gauge paper wrapped floral wire 16 inches (optional) Scissors Wide Eyed needle for sewing 10 mm safety nose 8 mm safety eyes Stitch marker 3.5 mm crochet hook Poly-fil Stitches used- Single crochet (sc), slip stitch (slst), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), single crochet increase (inc), single crochet decrease (dec) * This pattern was tested multiple times prior to release. *This listing is for an instant download knitting pattern.* Art Nouveau inspired hooded cape worked in a lacy chevron pattern with ribbon tie at neck. Pattern is one size and should fit and flatter most figures. Cape measures 32” (81 cm) in length from neck to longest point of hem. Cape is an approximate 3/4 circle, and measures approximately 133” (338 cm) wide at the hem. Neckline circumference is 20” (51 cm), and is adjustable with ribbon closure. Notes for lengthening are included in pattern. Yarn: 11 skeins [1375 yards (1257 m)] of Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Super Bulky yarn were required for the sample pictured. Gauge: 14 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette Other notions: One pair of US size 10 1/2 (6.5 mm) circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge- 36” length (91 cm) works best to accommodate the volume at the hem. 1 3/4 yards (1.6 m) of 2” (5 cm) wide ribbon.
