Stunning Italian rococo style heavily carved gold gilt wedding sofa/settee that we fully refinished and custom reupholstered in a high end teal mohair. We used a high density foam to make this sofa super comfortable and ready for its new home. The shaped and curved back with a raised carved foliate section, the upholstered back, arms and seat with removable squab and cushions, the scrolling ends with foliate carving and finishing with a curling rondel, the seat rail profusely carved end to end. Resting on four exuberant reeded and carved saber legs with reeding on the facing with foliate carving on the top, finishing with a well-cast brass paw with brass castors beneath.
