Super cute dessert-inspired Turtle clay figure! Perfect gift for Doughnut Lover Friends or Coworkers who love charming little creatures that resemble irresistible food. The turtle is about 2 x 2 inches and made from foam clay. It’s a lightweight, smooth clay that has a little give but it is not squishy and will keep its shape. It can be part of your own craft project or a cute decoration on your desk or shelf If you have concerns about Resin or are prone to allergies, I can substitute modpodge for the resin shine. It will be a litttle less clear but still cute and shiny. Please add this as a note when you purchase Disclaimer: These are not Toys. Only used for decorations. Not made for Children
This clay turtle is so cute! It's so easy to make a turtle sculpture out of air dry clay. No complicated sculpting techniques here! Simply use your fingers and a toothpick to create your creature. Clay Turtle Sculpting Turtles are such interesting creatures. Did you know that giant tortoises (a type of turtle) can live for an average of 100 years?! A tiny baby sea turtle hatching from its egg, handmade from porcelain and ceramic. Choose your miniature turtle sculpture with or without an egg. Each sea turtle figurine is unique and makes a wonderful collectible - perfect gifts for Valentine's Day, birthdays, or any holiday for the ocean lover! Each turtle is approximately 1" high x 1" wide x 1.5" long - about life size, and the perfect shape to fit in the palm of your hand. These sea turtle sculptures are part of my ocean conservation art project, "100 Turtles." I've sculpted over 100 unique ceramic sea turtle hatchlings, representing the 99% of hatchlings that are now born female at major nesting sites due to rising sand temperatures during incubation. Sea turtles are affected by so many of the things we do: over-hunting, light pollution, plastic pollution, and entanglement in fishing nets. Spotting a sea turtle always felt like a blessing to me – I find them to be deliberate, intelligent, graceful and calm. Their presence helps to maintain the health of coral reefs and shallow seas. Turtle nesting sites act as nutrient fixers in coastal sand dunes, helping to prevent erosion. A portion of proceeds from each sale goes to ocean conservation.
