My job is to help make your dreams come true. And sometimes, in that process, I get to make some of my own dreams come true, too. Sarah and Aaron’s wedding was one of those days for me that felt like an absolute dream. Was it also because I woke up at 4am to pack up their order and deliver it to Sedona? Maybe. Hard to say. But what isn’t hard to say is that the rich purples and blues, the full petaled flowers, the endless textures, and the one of a kind designs we created for their wedding day were some of my favorite designs I’ve ever gotten to dream up. This is a big one, ya’ll. So settle in, buckle up, and let’s get to it. Sarah and Aaron came to us by way of the amazing Kelsey Finland with Jane in the Woods. With the help of a few inspiration images and a luscious color palette, we were set free to dream up the best kinds of flowers to compliment the rest of the day. We worked with They Call me Spindles to create a cohesive color palette between the stationary, signs, and floral designs. I’ll never tire of the way small details come together to create such a huge impact. As the bride and groom got ready for their day, we were hard at work putting the finishing touches on all of their flowers. And, oh my god, did we have some incredible designs up our sleeves. The piece de resistance was the focal point of Sarah and Aaron’s ceremony. We had this 8ft circle arch created by the boys over at Shred Shop and it was truly the perfect style of arch for the day. See, if you’re getting married in Sedona, you are probably there because you want that incredible view. And the view truly is breathtaking. BUT, that doesn’t mean you can’t add a little something something at your ceremony to really anchor yourself in the gorgeous landscape. I love this circle arch because it didn't take anything away from the views of the red rocks AND it added a true wow factor to the ceremony. We wanted to create a fun, photo opportunity for guests in the cocktail area, so we created a custom constellation wall in the lounge area. The best part? The constellations are the same as those that were in the sky the night Aaron proposed to Sarah. This bar usually features gorgeous grapevines that crawl up the sides of the structure and cascade across the top. The only problem is that the grapevines weren’t in bloom this time of year, so we stepped in to create some magic in this space. I love this opportunity to create a WOW moment outside of the ceremony space. It’s unexpected but your guests are at the bar all night and it’s such a gorgeous space to elevate. As guests filtered in to the reception space, they were greeted by a custom table assignment display. But that's just the beginning. The goods just keep. on. coming. We softened the string lights above the reception space with gorgeous greenery then dressed the tables to the nines with arrangements that still get me all hot and bothered. The luxe velvet linen from La Tavola brought in some much needed depth to the space and the mix of textures between the cut glass goblets, mix of greenery in the arrangements, and the cane backs of the guest chairs all come together to create the most breathtaking reception space. The night was finished with a breathtaking cake created by Dessert First.
