Electroforming starts with freeform sculptural design. I cover the design with conductive paint and place the item in an electrolytic bath that is composed of a solution of metal salts. Then begins the intricate process of controlling the metal deposit of copper. I complete the piece with a patina. Each piece is unique. All biota included in my designs are grown or locally wildcrafted by myself with care for sustainability. The best method to keep your patina and your copper jewelry nice and shiny, is to store it in a re-sealable plastic bag or jewelry case with anti-tarnish paper.
