Soprano Fanny Moody as 'Marguerite' in Gounod's opera 'Faust' [Rotary Photographic series postcard] in the Carl Rosa Opera Company's 1890 revival at Drury Lane on April 8th. She was born in England on 23rd Nov 1866 and died in Ireland on 21st July 1945. She made her debut in the role of 'Arline' in ‘The Bohemian Girl’ at Liverpool in 1887 with the Carl Rosa Opera Company. Together with her husband Charles Manners they formed the Moody-Manners Opera Company in 1898 – it was disbanded in 1916.
