Students will love working together to complete this adding fractions puzzle! In this activity, students will match the fractions with the equivalent expression. Adding fractions with unlike denominators can be fun! Two levels of the puzzle are included. One version has stars around the edge (for struggling students) and the other version has problems with no stars around the edges. Make sure these problems are appropriate for your students - download the preview and look at the thumbnails to see problem examples. This activity can be completed individually or in pairs. Students will cut out each square to match the answers.
