Hey darlings! First a letter to Illamasqua, to unite all my thoughts of this week. Illamasqua, my beloveth, I have already convinced myself I don't need you in my life, that I don't need your polish, nor Hermetic or Besotted gloss, Liquid Metal Resolute or Precision Ink Abyss to finally achieve my perfect gothic look I'm dying to have. And now ... *sighs heavily* All my attempts to ignore your perfection have failed AND I WANT THEM ALL. I have no idea what was I thinking making an Illamasqua week. I knew I'd crave the polish even more than I already do. Why, why are you so perfect and at the same time so damn expensive? I mean, I'd love you for your package alone, but no, you have to be just superb in quality too, so why do I consider starving to get my Holy Trinity of your nail varnish? I do wonder if that makes me a tad bit extreme. Or dramatic. Or just plain crazy. All i know is that I will get you one day or heads will roll. All my love, Ulmiel *** On more serious note, darlings, don't think I'm insane. This was my poor attempt to entertain you and also tell you of all different kinds of Illamasqua product I'm craving. I'm also sucker for a good eye look and I'm still searching for a perfect lip product - I suspect I'll get both in Illamasqua. Illamasqua has this alter ego look that I totally adore, and their package really could sell me just about everything, let alone their perfection. And well, I love a lil bit of drama every once in a while. ;) I saw Lendoxias comment that she's been reading me on bloglovin for a while now so I have no idea who put the blog there, but yeah, people, however you find reading my blog easier! I feel rather silly for not knowing bloglovin' even existed ... oh well! To the nail varnish, what say you? It's the last one in Illamasqua week, it's my love, the pure and utter perfection in a bottle, still remaining one of my biggest lemmings, being alive or dead: Rampage. This lemming was killed for my bday by, of course, my dear Tevta. I was so in shock when she gave me the bottle, I'm not sure I even thanked her. How stupid can I get? Ok, I'll stop talking, picture time! Soft light. Still green! I noticed on a blog that the blogger wasn't sure why the cap is not lined with the bottle after a few usage. That's why. It's removable. I'm pointing this out just because I didn't notice it is for months. :) My sweetheart. I love this polish. I've already made quite a dent in my bottle, I'm using it with such a speed I'll empty 15 ml bottle in about 5 years. Which is very fast if you're a nail polish freak, I'd say. Pictures are 3 coats. I've worn it with two coats only too, so it's possible, but with the third one you get the depth in the green that makes me go ghnnngngh. So freakishly beautiful. ALU also says Rampage is a three coater, and I sooooooooo don't give a damn it is. Just applying it makes me happy. Do i even need to tell you application is a perfection? Rampage is sex in a bottle, really. Maybe I should say that line for Phallic? Lol. When I first saw dark forest green colours that remain green, exist, it became my holy grail of entire nail polish world. Imagine now your biggest craving you have in nail polish. Really the biggest, the one you actually consider buying of ebay for insane amount of money, even if it makes you eat only bread and water for a couple of days in that month and you will still be happy. Do you see that polish and feel the lemming? That is how much I craved to have this shade. Either in shape of Recycle by RBL or Illamasqua's Rampage. Those two are my utter perfection green colours, Rampage being a bit more perfect as it dries jelly, not creme. You may find it surprising, as I'm a total green polish fanatic, but I never craved Nars Zulu. I have very limited understanding for these overpriced polishes, I honestly think only Clarins 230 is worth the hype. Zulu is so dark it's almost black, and I can tell you about 5 more greens like that that are by far more available and cheap. So yeah. Illamasqua Rampage. Tevta, if i actually did forget to thank you, being in total shock, now you probably understand what this gift meant to me. :) Rampage is one of my Holy Trinity of Illamasqua. The other two are Hectic and Phallic. I'll get them some day, really. If I only got the three of Illamasqua, I'd be happy. I mean, I'd want more colours, but I'd be happier than with any other three. These are the ones I'd pay 13,5 pounds per bottle and smile while paying. Saying that I also must tell you right now my Illamasqua WL contains 9 bottles. Ouch? Ouch! But they are beautiful! I hope you had as much fun as I did with Illamasqua week! Here's the group picture of them showin their colours. Rrrrr! ;) Please tell me your critiques of the Illamasqua week. I'll be really glad to read them! Have an awesome Saturday! Thank you for reading! :*

*press sample Hey friends! If you follow me on Instagram these swatches will look familiar to you. I hope you were looking forward to the OPI Iceland Fall/Winter 2017 Collection as much as I was because my review is almost all positive! I didn't have a single application issue, and there was only one finish that I didn't like. This was my first time trying the OPI Infinite Shine formula. Since I don't keep polish on my fingers for long I can't say I've noticed a difference personally, but I certainly don't have any complaints. Let's take a look... Aurora Berry-alis is a muted berry creme. I LOVE berry shades and was surprised that this is different from all the ones I own! Shown is two coats plus top coat. Check Out the Old Geysirs is a medium gray blue with a bright blue shimmer. After swatching this I immediately put it on my toes so I could enjoy it longer. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Icelanded a Bottle of OPI is a cement gray/beige creme. I am a big neutral fan but this one wasn't especially flattering on me. Nothing wrong with it, just not in love. Shown is two coats plus top coat. I'll Have A Gin and Tectonic is a dusty nudey peach creme. This may look really similar to a couple of the shades from the California Dreaming collection. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Krona-logical Order is a deep taupe coffee brown creme. I am loving the darker shades in this collection. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Less is Norse is a deep muted gray-blue creme. Gorgeous! What more can I say? Shown is two coats plus top coat. One Heckla of a Color! is a dusty medium purple creme. The dusty shades are just killing me. So pretty. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Reykjavik Has All The Hot Spots is a rosy bronze metallic shimmer. Okay, here we go.. one I'm not feeling positive about. While it's not the most streaky metallic I've seen, streaks just bother me. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Suzi & the Artic Fox is a very deep grayish plum creme. I was surprised by this color and its subtlety, which was tough to photograph just right. Shown is two coats plus top coat. This Isn't Greenland is a light pistachio green creme. I was excited to have such a unique green shade, but it didn't do much for me. I know lots of people who love it though! Shown is two coats plus top coat. That's What Friends Are Thor is a deep chocolate brown creme. Out of the two deep brown shades this is the one a prefer. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Turn On the Northern Lights is deep indigo jelly base with bright reddish shimmer. This one steals the show! So, so stunning! Shown is two coats plus top coat. The collection is available now anywhere OPI is sold. Individual shades in the Infinite Shine formula retail for $12.50. If you get just one shade from this collection it has to be Turn On the Northern Lights! My other two favorites are Less is Norse and Check Out the Old Geysirs. What do you think of the collection as a whole? What are your favorites? Thanks for reading! I'd love for you to follow me on social media xx Emiline xx

*press sample Hello lovelies! I have the very unique and unexpected Cirque Colors The Metropolis Spring/Summer 2019 Collection, a 5-piece creme collection inspired by New York. The formulas as expected from this brand are all really good and even though I gave some of these shades the side eye, I really like how they look together. Let's get to the swatches.. Wall St. is a rich olive green creme. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Beatnik is a pickle green creme. I thought this shade would look like poop on me but actually doesn't look awful with my skin tone. It's so interesting! Shown is two coats plus top coat. Vanderbilt is a pale yellow ochre creme. Another really unique shade that took me by surprise. It's yellow but almost has a butterscotch look to it. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Met Steps is a soft light peach creme. With a careful hand you could probably get away with two coats. Shown is three coats plus top coat. Here's a comparison with Cirque Colors Lox and Sable which is brighter and more pink than Met Steps. Maria Maria is a bright poppy red creme. Shown is three coats plus top coat. I am really enjoying how these shades look together so I did a couple of nail art looks. For this first one I used Beatnik, Maria Maria, Maniology Coconut stamping polish, and Maniology MXM005 stamping plate. I went with an ombre look for this second mani using Wall St., Beatnik, Vanderbilt, and Maniology BM S326 stamping plate. The Metropolis S/S 2019 collection is available now. Each polish retails for $12.50 and can be purchased at cirquecolors.com. Cirque Colors Shop Facebook Instagram
St. Patrick's Day is approaching. Looking for that perfect green nail polish to represent the Emerald Isle? Here are eight great options.
I have a late post today of Essie Fall in Line from their fall collection Dress to Kilt. (A few weeks ago I posted The Perfect Cover Up from the same collection) Fall in Line is a gorgeous grayed out sage green with hints of blue. Essie calls it a jade. The point is, it's gorgeous! From the bottle I was just so so about it, but once I had it on, I really fell in love with it. The formula one this is nice. No complaints at all. This is 2 coats.
Gaia is a such a mouthwatering and refreshing solid grass green creme nail polish. Smooth and flawless application. Full coverage in just 1-2 coats. Gaia is a part of Forest Elf Collection This nail polish is Vegan & Cruelty-Free This nail polish is 10FREE, which means it is free of (DOES NOT have) Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Camphor, Formaldehyde Resin, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide, Parabens, Phthalates, Fragrances. ♥Handmade♥Hand Mixed♥Hand Poured♥ ♥Thank You for supporting my business♥
