Most clocks have an 8 days movement while this one has a 14 Days movement, performing brilliantly! The body comes in a GREEN and GOLD coulour, completely HANDFPAINTED! The craquelure has been HANDPAINTED on every single part of the clock, making it look so special. This gives you an indication how much time and work it took to build this clock. The sides of the clock show brown-ish streaks, which is actually the design of the clock, giving it an antique look. It is supposed to be this way; NOT a cosmetic imperfection. The movement shows the year this clock was made -> 1974! In the front door, there is a (real) CURVED glass window, FREE of scratches, through which the dial can be seen. The dial is a work of art and comes in metal. The ring, with Roman numbers on it, is CURVED. There are FLORAL Decorations in between the Roman numbers and 2 shining, BRASS rings. At the lower part of the clock, the gorgeous pendulum can be seen, of which the lens is made in the EXACT same style as the dial! This small wall clock is handcrafted from start to finish using authentic wood siding locally sourced from barns in Northern Indiana. Each piece of wood is carefully removed from its back side to preserve its condition and natural beauty. The clock is fastened in the back with two additional wooden pieces that are securely drilled and screwed in. Once the clock is assembled, we use a professional-grade router to cut a precise circle in the clock. After the cutting is complete, we take each clock to a disc sander and smooth out any bumps and imperfections that may be on the outside surface. We use an electric sander on the face of the clock to finish off the wood and remove any roughness. All clocks come ready to hang with cable that supports up to 30 lbs.
