Join me over on Instagram and check out the latest tool from We R Memory Keepers, the Cordless Marker Airbrush. This tool adds a great airbrushed look to your projects! Check out all the ways I used it on this set of Christmas cards. And hey, if you still need to work on your Christmas cards, let this be some inspiration for you! Because I certainly fall into that category! After die cutting various leaves and berries from basic white card stock, I added layers of color with the Cordless Marker Airbrush and the markers that come with it. The markers are juicy and vibrant. The color selection is great-especially for layering! By layering greens, yellows, and blues, I was able to get a ton of dimension and texture on these die cut pieces! Adding the color is easy, making quick work of mass-producing cards! I created the custom background paper with a stencil. Using stencils with this tool is wonderful! Great coverage and the stencils wash clean quickly with water in the sink. I also added a touch of color and stripes to my envelopes! What a fun way to finish off my cards! Oh, what fun this card is.... This is a swap card I made recently. It was so fun to play with some of my products that I hadn't used much yet..... Plus, I will always love this traditional color combination for the holidays..... We start our card with a Real Red card base, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock. On the left side of the card, we added a strip of the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum. Those real red diagonal stripes remind me of a candy cane - what do you think?? Leave me a comment below and let me know! Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum 139597 $11.00 Next, we added a narrow strip of Garden Green card stock, along with a strip of the Garden Green 1/8" Striped Ribbon. Real Red & Garden Green 1/8" Striped Ribbon 139615 $8.00 Next, we stamped "joy" (from the Your Presents Stamp Set) on the bottom of our card in Garden Green ink. Your Presents Stamp Set wood-mount 139803 $27.00 Your Presents Stamp Set clear-mount 139608 $19.00 Finally, we made the "ornaments" by stamping them in Garden Green and Real Red ink and punching them out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. The plaid Garden Green ornament was stamped once, re- inked and stamped again in the opposite direction to make the plaid look. How fun is that! We also stamped the ornament toppers directly onto our card in Basic Black ink and then adhered our ornaments to the card with Dimensionals. The ornament strings were hand-drawn with our Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker. 1 1/4" Circle Punch 119861 $16.0 Stampin' Dimensionals 104430 $4.00 Regals Stampin' Write Marker 131262 $29.00 I hope you enjoyed this card!
