Over the course of four decades, the British photographer Terence Donovan shot all manner of royalty: He covered rock 'n roll with Jimi Hendrix and Elvis Costello; modeling with Twiggy, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Campbell; acting with Sophia Loren and Sean Connery; and regular old monarchy with Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana. "Terence Donovan: Portraits," published next month by Damiani, is the first book to collect all those faces in one place, stretching from when Donovan made a name for himself in the '60s to the next generation, including a baby-faced John Galliano.
