PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION This large hand embroidery kit combines 4 smaller seasonal bird designs* into a year of feathered friends! Choose to recreate this colorful wreath using a traditional 9 inch embroidery hoop or grab the double hoop kit from the drop down menu. Be sure to read the details about each option below. While the included hand embroidery stitches are beginner friendly, the size of the project makes this design more suitable for crafters with hand embroidery experience. The double hoop kit is best suited for intermediate stitchers familiar with pattern transfer techniques. This hand embroidery kit is available in two options: 1. Regular hoop style. Your kit includes 1 hoop (9 inch) and blue-grey fabric permanently printed with the design. This fabric is not stretchy enough to be double hooped so your final hoop art will be framed in a single 9 inch hoop. 2. Double hoop style. Your kit includes 2 hoops (9 inch, 3 inch) and blue-grey linen fabric. You must transfer the design to the fabric yourself. This design is quite complex so please be prepared to spend an hour tracing the design by hand. Other options include printable stabilizer but please be sure to test your method to ensure it's erasability. Some printer inks are not compatible with this method. All kits also include: ★ 32 colors DMC embroidery floss organized on a floss card ★ Embroidery needles ★ The color printed embroidery instructions ★ A copy of the Beginner Guide ★ A double hoop assembly guide The embroidery pattern includes a link to the individual seasonal bird video tutorials on YouTube, stitch and color keys, a color close up photo of stitched pattern. If you'd like a digital copy emailed to you please let me know ([email protected]). The beginner guide includes a supplies list with suggested products (hoops, needles, fabric, etc) based off of my experience, helpful tips and tricks for transferring design, getting started, and finishing your project, plus diagrams of stitches. This document is also available on my website here and includes videos for most stitches: https://jessicalongembroidery.com/blogs/embroidery-basics/embroidery-basics-overview To complete the double hoop project you will also need: ★ Scissors (embroidery and fabric) https://www.etsy.com/shop/JessLongEmbroidery?section_id=22670244 ★ Wood stain and varnish if you choose to treat your natural wooden hoops ★ An Ultra Fine Sharpie or similar for tracing the design (if you decide to grab the double hoop kit) ★ Glue for finishing (Aleene's, hot glue gun, etc) or use the included floss to lace up the back Love double hoop patterns?
