Minimalistische metalen Royal Suspension Light werd ontworpen voor het SAS Royal Hotel in Kopenhagen (Radisson Collection) in 1957. Oorspronkelijk bestond het uit een tafellamp, vloerlamp, wandlamp en twee tafellampen die ontworpen waren om aan tafelbladen te bevestigen. De Minimalist Metal Wall Light was te vinden in prachtige rijen in roestvrij staal in de lobby toen het hotel voor het eerst werd geopend in 1960. In combinatie met de hanglamp Denmark Royal maakte de Minimalist Metal Royal Suspension Light deel uit van het algemene ontwerpconcept.
