Thanks to the advanced optical technologies which allow us to explore otherwise unreachable majesty of the world through a lens. However, thanks to talented artists who manage to capture and remind us about the beauty of it. One of those artists, Vadim Trunov, doesn't look far – most of his macro photos are taken just on his doorstep in Voronezh, Russia. Masterpiece photography by Trunov provides a new perspective to our surroundings by portraying the uniqueness, diversity and vitality of the micro nature. In his pictures, vibrant creatures in their colourful environment expose supremely picturesque lands and create fairy-tale atmospheres. Surprisingly, some of them replicate common human life situations. Can you relate to any of these characters? For more beauty please visit Vadim Trunov's portfolio. I'm sure your eyes deserve it!

The lakes of the Adirondacks were loaded with water lilies, something I am not use to paddling around. I tried for a different perspective by shooting underwater up through the lily pads as the sun rays shined through. ----- July 29th to August 2nd, my brother and I kayaked the first map of the the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, Old Forge to Long Lake in the Adirondacks of New York. It was an incredible adventure through a pond, 11 lakes, a boggy marsh and 1 river. We set up primitive camping each night in different locations, Seventh Lake, Raquette Lake, Forked Lake and Raquette River. I used two cameras through the journey, a waterproof point and shoot and my Nikon DSLR. Become a Fan on Facebook! PLEASE NOTE: All Rights are Reserved. I am Karol Nienartowicz and I'm a 29-year old photographer from Poland. I was born in Jelenia Góra, a small town in the south-western part of the country, and now I live in Gdansk. I still recall one particular day in summer of 2003, when my mom took me on my first mountain trip. I saw that heart-breathing beauty of mountains and I quickly wanted to share this feeling with other people! Thus, I took my photo camera on my next trip. Since that moment, I've photographed mountains, combining photography with my great passion for traveling.

Symmetry is usually defined as a sense of "balanced proportions" or "the quality of having parts that match each other," especially in an attractive way. And, when you think about it, it is all around us. Whether we look at human beings, architecture, art, or biology, there’s nothing more fascinating than seeing how the world is full of perfect forms and harmony.
