I anticipate move in day to be kind of stressful and overwhelming so hopefully thinking about the layout before I arrive helps to make the day and overall transition to college a bit easier... granted I don't know what my exact room will look like :) Looking at lots of dorms on Pinterest has helped me to get a better sense of how people tend to arrange their rooms and what I think would work best for me. I am hoping to maintain crisp and clean look while still incorporating personal touches that will make my dorm feel a little bit more like home. Where Do I Download My Purchased Files? Accessing your files is nice and easy, but “where” you access them depends on how you ordered... 🔶 ETSY ACCOUNT > If you ordered while "logged into your Etsy account", the link to download your artwork files will be found under the "Purchases and Reviews" section in your Etsy account. 🔶 GUEST CHECKOUT > If you checked out "as a guest" your download links will be found in the email that was sent to you after purchase. MOBILE DEVICE USERS -> Where Do I Download The Files? (Read This First…) If you want to access your files on your mobile device “you must” log into your Etsy account using your device’s “Web Browser” and then navigate to “Purchase and Reviews” just like you would on a computer. This is because the current Etsy mobile APP doesn’t have download functionality. So please don’t look for your download links in the Etsy Mobile App, you won’t find them there. For now we just have to manage around this by using the mobile browser instead. To be honest though, the simplest way to access your files is still on a computer if you can. But if you still need help please convo me asap, and I’ll be glad to help. HOW DO ZIP FILES WORK?? In some cases your artwork will be downloaded as a ZIP file (due to Etsy’s file size limits). A ".ZIP" file is simply a container that bundles all of the images together and shrinks the file size down for Etsy’s system. All this means is that you’ll need to open the ZIP file first, in order to access the printable JPG images inside. This is super easy though… After downloading the artwork ZIP file simply double-click on it, and it will automatically open itself up, revealing the JPG images ready for use. You’ll then see that the filename for each image shows it's dimensions, making it easy for you to select the size you want to print. WHERE SHOULD I GET ME ARTWORK PRINTED?? For the 5x7 and 8x10 inch sizes you can easily print at home using a standard home printer. For the larger sizes you will need to take them to your local print service to have them print for you (typically by transferring the files onto a USB flash drive or memory card). There are many great places to get your artwork printed such as Walgreens, Walmart, Costco, Staples, Shutterfly, Nations Photo Lab, Snapfish etc just to name a few. WHAT PAPER SHOULD I USE? Paper is something that you really get what you pay for, so I always recommend going for the best you can afford within your budget. Always go with heavier/thicker paper or cardstock when you can and choose Giclée ink if it's an option. Personally my favourite type of paper is Matte finish as I find that it achieves the most premium look and is usually cheaper than gloss.
