Hello there, I am a little out of sync with my blog this week, still getting to grips with my new job but I am here with a fave card from recent times. I LOVE the From Our House to Yours and you can easily miss this set in the NEW Autumn/Winter catalogue as it's really near to the Thanksgiving and New Year things, I think it's page 57! I have a video on this card which is just further on my post and I have a cool trick to show you how I created the Happy New Home words with the Well Written dies. And here is the video for you to take a look at!
Happy Monday Crafty Friends! With the hustle and bustle of Christmas behind us for another year, I am excited to start working on other everyday projects! I'm so excited to share my shaped card with you today using some of the new Top Dog Dies I recently got!!! We recently had some new neighbors move in just before Christmas, so I thought it was fitting to use the Our Home Album Die to create a house shaped card! I just LOVE how it turned out! It's always so much fun to have a vision, but then once completed and it turning out even better then you visioned....major success!! I used the Home Album Finishers Die Set to add the fun accents on the house; door, fence, chimney, windows and shutters! The large Congratulations and added "on your new home!" sentiment are from the lovely Big Congrats set from Inspired By Stamping! The flowers and leaves weaved in the fence is the Wildflower Die! What some fun dies!! -------------- Dies used: Our Home Album Die Home Album Finishers Die Set Wildflower Die Check out the Top Dog Dies Blog for some more wonderful inspiration!! Our lovely neighbours are moving house this week. They've lived in the village for 29 years and they will be greatly missed. For this card I used Papertrey Ink "Love Lives Here" stamp and dieusing off-cuts of patterned paper.
Hello there, did you have a nice weekend? I am back today with a new home card that I have made for my lovely friend Marlou. I have first taken a panel of white CS and applied a strip of Doodlebug paper followed by a strip of CS to it. I have then taken the PS Stitched Tag and cut this from more white CS. I have die cut various images from the WPlus9 Folk Art Florals Die Collection using Bazzill CS and arranged them on the tag to make a little scene. For the leaves I have added a little Copic Marker for some shading and then added some clear WOS to the cute little bird. I have added some floss to the tag and then popped it up with foam tape on the panel which has been added to an A2 card base. I have finished off with the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted A Little Sentimental Stamp Set. SUPPLIES: InLinkz.com I really like this set for new home cards :) Thanks so much for visiting me today, I am so thankful it is a little cooler here today! I hope you have a lovely day!

I had to make a new home card the other day and saw they are looking for kraft and red over at Color Hues this month, I decided that would be my colour scheme. I think kraft and red look great together and I love this little house die from do crafts, it comes with the tiny heart too. The hills are cut from scraps of stamping card with an oval die and the windows and hearts are cut from no shed glitter paper. I was going to heat emboss the sentiment in white but, the powder stuck to everything and I had to wipe it off and decided that it was fine as it was just stamped with versamark. I am also sharing this at: Happy Little Stampers - Anything goes with dies October Supplies: Cardstock: White stamping card; Kraft card Ink: Versamark Stamps: Uniko Dies: Hobby Craft, heart die; Docrafts, house die; Waffle Flower, Ovals; Create a smile, stitched rectangle. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.
Have you already prepared your shopping list of the MFT May Release? It's the final countdown day and the release will go live tomorrow, at 10am EST. Today's card features the newest My Neighborhood Die-namics. The card is really simple, no coloring at all! I had the idea to create a patterned paper, using tone on tone die cuts. I also wanted to create a Welcome Home card, using the In Stitched Alphabet die and customizing the letter O with one of the small home die cut. So I die cut a lot of sm

My daughter needed a "Happy New House" card so I used a house from last year's Holiday Home and set it in front of those majestic trees from Wonderland. And I have had a few questions recently about my own house - specifically about my kitchen remodel. Such a long story......and it is not over yet but I can see the finish line. The workers (my son-in-law, my husband and me) started in mid-April and by the end of May the kitchen was functional. But those workers became way too interested in summertime fun and preferred boating on the lake in their spare time - instead of finishing up the kitchen. Thank Heavens it rains a bit in the summer so my son-in-law tiled the backsplash and the big guy painted the walls. But that gal in charge of window treatments and picking out a new kitchen set still hasn't gotten around to it. She is always disappearing upstairs mumbling something to the other workers about having to make a card or two. So what else is left to do? The crown molding is ready to go but not installed. The walls are empty and the pantry doors need painting. The pressure is on to get everyone going again before the snow flies. Once there is snow on the ground those boaters turn into skiers and any finishing touches will have to wait until mud season in April! Here's a peek at my tiled backsplash - it is way more icy blue in real life than in the picture! So if your kitchen is all cozy and finished you have time to join us at Freshly Made Sketches! I love Jen Brum's wide open sketch this week!

Hello there, I am sorry for the delay in blogging this last week I had technical issues, then I managed to lose my phone *twice*, well left it behind in London the first time... anyway rest assured I am not going back to my bad blogging habits :), it was just a blip. My gorgeous sister and her family have recently moved into a new home. Such an exciting time for them all, especially as they have waited an age for the right house to come up in their desired location close enough to London and their work. But by the grace of God everything worked out for them and the absolute best house is now their happy place :) And of course, I couldn't wait to make them a New Home card. Plus I had the PERFECT set, well bundle to get that job done :) I am of course talking about the At Home With You bundle. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen this card last week. I recently started, ( well I posted twice so far LOL) posting to Instagram even though I had the account for yonks. I never started it properly, so I am dipping my toes in the water. Of course *One* has to get down with the "insta worthy pics" so if you think what's up with her trying so hard all of a sudden??? you now know why LOL Instagram is about all things beautiful and careful considered photos, so I am trying to find a style I can keep consistent going forward, oh Lordy hope it lasts. Now if you wish to follow me on there, you can do so HERE. I used the framelits and some of the fabulous Wood Textures to cut the door, have you seen how cool that door it? it has a score line so you can actually open the door and pop things behind. Very cool. Of course the Brick Wall embossing folder was perfect as a textured background layer, you can get yours HERE . For the wreath and flower pots I stamped them black first then coloured the flowers using the New In Colour markers for 2017-2019 from Stampin'Up! What do you think, loving this particular bundle? Can you see the possibilities? I cannot wait to use it for Christmas as well, I think its going to be a keeper. You can get yours HERE right away then you are all set to get creating <3 nbsp="" p=""> Thank you for your visit, see you again soon, till then xoxoxo Monica
