Most of the examples pictured are Eastern Poison Ivy - It attaches to trees with furry fibrous roots, tunnels along the ground under covering and can provide a good cover for a privacy fence. - It provides wildlife value with the flowers and berries. - Grows well in dappled sun or shade, and especially on a forest edge. -Poison ivy is a perennial with woody rhizomes, which are underground creeping roots.
