Hi, I've used this poppy die from Memory Box a few times, but mainly for sympathy cards. This time I separated the flowers and put the bud on the other side to create a bouquet. I cut the flower tops from snippets of watercolor paper and coloured them with Inktense pencils. I'm still getting used to using them so my blending and shading needs a bit more work. I'm going to visit the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop, I hear there's going to be some fireworks, I hope I'm not too late! I'm also entering Addicted to CAS the code word is die cuts. Materials used: Tulip border embossing folder; Memory Box Prim Poppies and Primo Label dies; Inktense pencils; ribbon & sentiment sticker from stash. Thanks for visiting :)

I am sharing the Painted Poppy Bundle today. I saw it at Stampin’ Up! OnStage in Atlanta last month, and I have seen other demonstrators’ cards. Playing with it myself was still amazing! The stamps and dies, as always, are awesome. Poppies are very popular this year. I have been seeing them everywhere. […]
This week’s SUDSOL sketch challenge is this: Some weeks ago a friend lost someone very dear to her. I didn’t have a sympathy card ready and by the time I could get to craft one, it was really too many days late. Rather than get caught like that again, I decided to use the sketch to make a […]

Welcome to this months Kre8tors Blog Hop, we our a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the globe sharing Ideas and Inspiration with Stampin' Up! Products, your currently with me Laura Mackie a demonstrator from the UK. I do hope your keeping well and staying safe during these unprecedented times? this months theme is 'Floral' Here is my card using the Poppy Moments Dies My flowers and leaves are created with ink, an aqua painter and fluid 100 watercolour paper, I coloured a sheet of each colour so I had a watercoloured piece in Melon Mambo and another piece in Granny Apple Green I then die cut the poppies from the Melon Mambo piece and lots of leaves and foliage from the Granny Apple Green piece, with all my elements cut, I then decided on my card base, I've used a Night 0f Navy Card base 28cm x 14cm, scored in half at 14cm, then I scored one half again at 7cm to create a z fold card, my front layer and inside layers measure 2 x Melon Mambo at 11.5cm x 11.5cm and 1 x Whisper White and 1 x Night Of Navy @ 11cm x 11cm I love the Melon Mambo with the Night of Navy, I added a few Frosted Epoxy Droplets, my sentiment is heat embossed in white embossing powder on to Night Of Navy Cardstock, everything I've used today is available in my online shop, details below. Hi everyone. This week is the 3rd birthday at ATS&M and they are celebrating in style with a CAS challenge (my favourite!). :) I just HAD to play along! :) I bought this sweet die yesterday (along with a few other goodies) from my local scrapbooking store. I die-cut with watercolour paper and then used a water brush and some distress inks to colour. I finished off by adding a simple stamped banner at the bottom. Easy, peasy card! Father's Day is just a few days away, and the family will be celebrating by getting together for a pot luck lunch on Sunday. I know hubby will be smiling the whole day. I hope you all have a wonderful and fun weekend. :) Stamps: Happy (Simon Says) Paper: White card base (Neenah); Watercolour (Arches 140 lb. cold press) Ink: Black (Memento); Mowed Lawn, Ripe Persimmon, Fired Brick (Tim Holtz) Accessories & Tools: Row of Poppies die (Memory Box), water brush Challenges: ATS&M #149 - CAS
If a catalogue had a "signature suite," this Peaceful Poppies Suite would be it. A double-bundle suite, it has two stamp sets, each with a coordinating set of dies, plus Designer Series
At first, I didn't think that the 'Peaceful Moments' stamp set coordinated with the corresponding 'Poppy Moments' dies. But, now that I've played with them a bit... they do pair well together. The stamp set is a bunch of sentiments... and the dies have plenty of flower and leaf combinations to work with. As of this day, the day that I am posting, the only colors used for the 'poppies' were coral or red. Which is the color one would normally consider a poppy. However, I chose to use the colors of Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry. I added a Wink of Stella to the flower and leaf petals (the darker pieces of each to make them 'pop'. Thanks for dropping by! Stamp Set - Peaceful Moments Ink - Memento Paper - Whisper White (thick), Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Delightful Daisy DSP Accessories - Die-Cut/Emboss Machine, Poppy Moments dies, glue dots
Hello, Crafters. Today’s video shows how to make a fabulous masculine floating gatefold card. The first one I saw was by Dawn Griffiths, and then I saw one by Blondecards_n_crafts. She credited her video to Dawn and also Jennifer McGuire. I checked out Jennifer’s video and used her idea for the floating mechanism. So credit ... Read More about Floating Gatefold Card Video

Succes ermee. Liefs, Ilonka.
