We’re excited to talk about our statewide book fair to benefit students throughout Ohio. This is a 100% online book fair with Children’s Bookstore. If you arrive at the website through a page other than our book fair page, please enter the following code: OhioPTA. This unique book fair is scheduled for November 1st to 15th, 2016. The book fair will provide money for the Ohio PTA Scholarship Fund. Ohio 2017 graduating seniors who will be enrolled in college, university or technical programs are eligible for scholarships. (This is not a scholarship for students currently enrolled in colleges, or universities or technical programs.) As a supporter of all children and youth, we need your help to get the word out about the book fair. If we act together, we can truly help students all over Ohio. Here's how you can help: 1. Become familiar with the book fair. Click here to visit our book fair page. We will earn 30% of every purchase made at the online book fair. 2. Send book fair announcements via emails or social media to your colleagues, friends, family, PTA districts, councils and local units. We need to spread the word as much as possible throughout the state – and beyond. There will be additional announcements to market our book fair that we encourage you to forward to your contacts based on the following schedule: October 25: Book Fair Announcement November 1: Book Fair Kick-Off November 8: Half Way Reminder November 14: Two Days to Go November 15: Last Minute Reminder There are more than 200,000 books available from baby books to young adult books. Every book on the website is eligible for our book fair. When you do your Christmas shopping for books, you'll be helping many high school seniors all over our state. Thank you in advance for your significant support of this event. Happy Reading!
Today, PTA’s role is more important than ever in connecting parents, teachers and administrators, and supporting critical school needs. We want every family in our schools to join PTA, because we can do more together than apart. Our membership campaign—PTA For Your Child—is designed to engage and excite new members and existing members by making the work of the PTA more visible and highlighting the value and impact of PTA.
