So basically, I'm REALLY loving this year's color, Radiant Orchid. A few weeks ago, Nellie Thomas - the artist behind WoolyWire - created new these new color-ways with an Orchid theme. I was immediately captivated... About the same time, Genea Crivello-Knable created these fabulous Space Age earrings using "Space Age Pod Pink" WoolyWire - which has similar orchid tones. The earrings are made with Genea's gorgeous lampwork headpins (btw, she created a tutorial for them that was published in the February 2014 issue of Bead Design Studio). Hello Friends! This month Imagine is teaming up with Waffle Flower Stamps. My first project incorporates the Color of the Month - Amethyst - with the stamp set - Bouquet Builder 3. This is my creation!! I was inspired by the amethyst stone (shown below) and the lovely color gradation it has naturally. I used my stamp positioner to stamp the image 3x with 2 VersaFine Clair inks and the Electric Purple Radiant Neon ink. After all 3 panels were stamped I embossed them with Sparkle Mboss embossing powder for an extra lovely bit of sparkle!
