The Complete Book of Hardanger
This is a pdf pattern of my window seat embroidery design. A girl sits cosily inside reading by a wintery window with a patchwork quilt over her toes, one of my own favourite places to be. The pattern is designed to fit a 6" hoop and will need tracing onto a fabric of your choice. (Basic instructions for tracing the pattern are included). My own fabric choice was Robert Kaufmann Essex linen in natural. The pattern is a PDF download. Once you have purchased it you should receive a link from Etsy to download it (this can occasionally end up in your spam folder so make sure to check there). You will need adobe reader to print the pattern but I think this is standard on most computers now. You will receive full instructions and a colour guide with photographs along with a short tutorial for the satin stitch. PLEASE NOTE: PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN ENGLISH If you are new to embroidery there are stitch tutorials along with posts about the materials that I love to use over on my website at www.lilipopo.com This listing is for a pdf download. If you would like the design printed on a fabric panel ready to stitch then please head over to the printed fabric section in my shop https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LiliPopo?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=19645523 If you have any questions please message me on Etsy or email me at [email protected]

Normally – practically always, as a matter of fact – the embroidery projects I work on are mounted on an embroidery frame or in an embroidery hoop. For some types of embroidery, it’s essential to use a hoop or frame. Goldwork and silk embroidery (like the Medallion project, this goldwork pomegranate project, this goldwork and ...
