This week I am so excited to be bringing you my version of the 12 days of Christmas. But guess what? My 12 days of Christmas with be brought to you in 6 days! That's right, instead of using one stamp set for my showcase this week I thought I would do some Christmas projects but did not want to stretch it over 12 days (that would impede on the time I would spend on next weeks showcase) so I decided to create and post in 6 days! Each day for the next 6 days I will be posting a new creation or two. After the 6th day of posting is complete I will be offering a full color PDF of all the projects in my store. Today we are going to start the 6 days of Christmas with Old Saint Nick! There is no better way to usher in the season with him. Just like watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade, my favorite part is always Santa bring up the rear of the parade than I know the season has truly begun. Make sure you check back to my blog or FB page each and every day to see what I have in store for you! Thank you for taking the time to visit and for choosing me as your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends! Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday. I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products found in the 2018 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog to bring this card up to the next stamping level. Here is my Spot Light Sunday card from yesterday on the TOP..... And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card for today on the BOTTOM..... I must admit.......I'm LOVING TO PIECES how this upgraded version turned out. I used the same 'Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder' on this upgraded card ........ But I changed the card stock from Poppy Parade to Whisper White. Next, I added a Garden Green and Poppy Parade card stock panel behind the 'Santa's Workshop Designer Series Paper' and changed the orientation of the DSP on this upgraded card. I did use VersaMark ink and 'Black Embossing Powder' when I stamped my Santa and sentiment ...... And that really POPPED my Santa image. I also added several additional card stock layers to that Santa panel. And my final addition to this upgraded card was adding some of the SUPER YUMMY 'Poppy Parade Textured Weave Ribbon' to the top of my Designer Series Panel. In the end......I must admit both cards are FESTIVE & FUN....... BUT WONDERING.....DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE????? Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
The beautiful fall colors from Lynn’s inspiration photo at the Color Throwdown Challenge took a turn …and somehow had me thinking about Christmas…yellow gold, red, brown, and kraft! I used Tim Holtz’s Sizzix new “Santa Greetings Colorize” dies! I made a woodgrain background with inked kraft paper, an old snowflake background embossed in white, paint streaks and splatters, and The Greetery’s “Herringbone Parquet” die. Will your card reflect fall’s lingering beauty or give a sneak peek of the coming holidays?! Upload your creation at the Color Throwdown blog for a chance to be the randomly-selected guest designer at an upcoming challenge! Thanks for stopping by!
Hello, friends! I'm stopping in quickly to share a card I made for several challenges: (1) Inspirational Challenge #175: Designer's Choice - Anything Christmas (2) Inspired By...Christmas Linens -- I was definitely inspired by the Santa images! (3) CAS on Friday Challenge #147 - Make a Christmas Card (4) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes I had a good time inking up and coloring this festive My Favorite Things Santa image paired with a great sentiment from Honey Bee. I kept it clean and simple by keeping white space and minimal embellishments around my one main image. Supplies: Stamps: MFT (Jingle All the Way), Honey Bee (Fa La La) Inks: Memento (Tuxedo Black), distress inks (Tumbled Glass, Weathered Wood), Copic markers Dies: MFT (Wonky Stitched Rectangles) Other: Hero Arts snowflake sequins, Stickles, ultra fine glitter I really appreciate your visit during such a busy time of year! Thanks, as always, for stopping by! Judy
Hi there, A few weeks ago I attended a team training day and participated in some "swaps" - this is where we all make a number of the same card or project and swap with other demos so that we end up with a whole load of different projects to use as inspiration in our businesses. One of the swap groups I was in was for Christmas cards and three of the cards I received used the "Santa's Suit" stamp set from the Autumn Winter catalogue. This is not one I had bought myself but I thought you might like to see the cards I received. They were all incredibly intricate and I can't imagine how much time (and talent) was taken to produce these. Here is the first card. This one was made by Saffron Redman-Morriss. I'm not sure you can see all the details of this card properly in the photos so I made a very quick little video too. Watch it HERE Thank you so much Saffron for your beautiful card. Come back tomorrow to see another, equally stunning card.
